Our Community Kitchen will become a place where people can come daily, having a hot meal and community. Our hope is to begin with breakfast six days a week (closed on Sunday). We believe when you nourish a community physically and spiritually, people will begin to thrive!

We’d like to support this team financially on an ongoing basis. Please note, they have not asked for pay but they are without consistent work. What if this was their job? That’s the prayer! Right now, it take about 3 days to deliver 12 bags.
Here’s our hope in supporting a team of 6 that works 3 days a week:
3 days/week @ $9/day for 6 people = $162/week
Edwin

We pay Edwin $336/month from donations designated to him. When we spoke with Edwin about pay, back in July 2020, we asked him what the daily rate was for a “really, really good job.” He said $12/day is a dream, and consistent pay is unknown. Since July 2020 we have committed to the following:
$12/day @ 7 days/week = $84/week
$84/week @ 4 weeks/month = $336/month
