Our passionate team was the foundation of everything we accomplished. Their deep connection to the community stemmed from the fact that they themselves were members of the surrounding areas.

It was a unique aspect of our work that every member of our team lived in circumstances no better than those they served. The transformative difference was the hope they found in Jesus. This hope fueled their passion to be agents of change, to make a tangible difference in the lives of their neighbors.

We provided ongoing financial support to this dedicated team. At that time, our core team included Edwin, who served as our full-time leader, alongside a kitchen staff of three. We also engaged local day laborers as needed for construction projects. This commitment to providing meaningful employment within the community remains a vital part of our mission, and we continue to believe in empowering individuals through stable work.
